2 GB Ram, or do I need more?

My video card is running fine, I look in Device manager and everything looked fine and I have the same amount of Mb of RAM which is 128, so what could be the problem?

Video card. 9800Pro as this should support the advanced video features of Longhorn/Vista although a vanilla 9800 is probably OK. Note that lesser video cards can run Vista but probably won't be able to run the fancy features that form part of Aero Glass. Router: You say Linksys I say Netgear. Much of a muchness.

I think you mean a video card with dedicated memory. You don't have to have a card with dedicated 128Meg of ram. Mine has 32MB, and uses system memory for the rest of it's needs. I can display the prettier Vista theme, but not the aero glass. Which is a non-issue for me, since I use Classic mode.
